Linkedin Hacks for Real Estate Agents

Real estate agents can now add social media to their list of business marketing tools. It is cost effective and produces great results.

But, Facebook and Twitter are not the only social media platforms for business promotion; LinkedIn, as a business networking website, also plays an important part in presenting a business and even a professional online portfolio or resume.

Through LinkedIn, real estate agents can get more business referrals and increased online presence.

Here’s how to maximise your LinkedIn profile and improve it to better accelerate the growth of your business.

Use keywords

When writing your LinkedIn heading, make sure to use keyword phrases that would showcase your expertise and extend your search engine optimisation to its full potential. Your goal is to give people a self-introduction and in the process, highlight your skills.

Get recommendations

The recommendations section is simply one of the most powerful tools on LinkedIn. When you have recommendations, it attests to your skills and provides authentic proof of client satisfaction. With it, you will solidify your online credibility.

But, how can you get recommendations from your connections without asking them for it upfront? Start writing recommendations for others and they may just return the favour. Otherwise, you can just send them recommendation requests directly.

Join groups and meet new people

For a Melbourne business broker, getting connected with other people in the industry can drive greater engagement and help them build a good reputation among clients and peers. LinkedIn Groups presents this opportunity. After joining relevant groups or communities, you can share content, find potential clients, and even drive people to your website. Just remember not to get too promotional because this can get you marked as a spammer and banned from the group.

A strong LinkedIn profile can transform the way you transact and find prospective clients in a wider, more diverse network. LinkedIn is easy to use for growing your business and strengthening the connections you have.
