More and more people are searching for properties on the web, many of whom do so on a mobile device. Mobile searching has become a huge trend, even in the real estate industry.

Realtors who make use of this fact are poised to move one step ahead of the competition. There are undeniably many benefits to be had out of it. Here’s how realtors can use mobile trends to their advantage.

Mobile app development

Place it on the right platform and realtors have the power to reach a wider network, with potential buyers seeing their information as they browse on their devices. As a result, there could be an increase in leads and revenue.

QR codes are also great (and indirect) advertising tools. For instance, instead of posting a “for sale” sign, a good call to action may be put in place together with a QR code buyers can scan should they wish to learn more about the property. This gives a residential broker the opportunity to contact interested buyers and to discuss more about the possible sale.

The current trend in mobile also makes it easier for realtors to promote themselves and their services. Instead of having to spend thousands of dollars on marketing, they can do it online.

Realtors that have yet to take advantage of this ongoing mobile trend are missing out on a cost-effective and profitable way to grow their business.
