The 10 Suburbs that have Double digit Pricing Growth

Ever rinse 2017, property prices in Australia have been in one route — downhill. Despite the decrease, there are suburbs within the country that went in a different direction. These areas went upwards instead of downwards.

The top 10 list was topped by Adelaide’s Highbury, with a whopping 26 per cent, while Palm Beach in Sydney and Hobart’s Chigwell grew by 24 per cent and 23 per cent, respectively. At the bottom of the list, however, is Sydney’s Collaroy, with 19 per cent growth.

The median prices of each suburb differ in the last 12 months. For example, looking at the list, Smithfield Plains in Adelaide have a median price of $212,000 while Palm Beach properties have a median price of around $3.4 million.

Here’s the full list:

Highbury (SA) with a growth of 26 per cent and a median price of $587,500

Palm Beach (NSW) with a growth of 24 per cent and a median price of $3,400,000

Chigwell (TAS) with a growth of 23 per cent and a median price of $326,000

North Adelaide (SA) with a growth of 22 per cent and a median price of $1,026,000

Smithfield Plains (SA) with a growth of 20 per cent and a median price of $212,500

Despite the decrease in prices, the housing market in the country looks rosy due to the price growth of these suburbs. This is a great moment for property sellers who want to earn more or display a higher asking price.

On the other hand, those who want to buy properties australia, there are other suburbs in key cities, such as Sydney and Melbourne, that offer lower prices. All it takes is a search on suburbs and comparing prices on different areas to find the best deal so far.
